006/365 - Bailey & Tyler

January 6, 2008 - I didn't leave the house today and it rained the entire day, which left me having to shoot indoors today. Thankfully, my son Bailey was in the mood to take a quick portrait with our Shiba Inu Tyler.
The image was shot with a Nikon D300 and 18-200mm VR lens on a tripod. I had a small spotlight setup behind me, but no flash was used. I took the shot in Aperture priority mode with the aperture set to f/4.8, the camera chose a shutter speed of 1/10 of a sec. I also had the camera set to Vivid color mode which accounts for the deep, rich colors. Not great for faces, but the tree in the background looks cool.
