12/365 - Tyler Davidson Fountain

January 12, 2009 - I had a meeting in downtown Cincinnati this evening so it was a good chance to shoot the Tyler Davidson Fountain at night. The fountain is Cincinnati's best known symbol and was designed to rival the great fountains of Europe. This is a detail shot of one of the four figures that surround the Genius of Water, known as "The Lady."
Unfortunately, I forgot my tripod, so this was shot hand-held with my Nikon D70 and Nikkor 50mm 1:1.8 lens at f/1.8 and a shutter speed of 1/80 sec. at ISO 800.
