20/365 - Old Glory Over Cincinnati

January 20, 2009 - In an effort to celebrate the mood of America on this historic day of the Inauguration of Barack Obama. I tried to think of the most dramatic setting where I could find the American flag in Greater Cincinnati. So I drove to the overlook at Devou Park (on the Kentucky side of the river) to shoot Old Glory with the Cincinnati skyline as the backdrop.
Shot on tripod with my Nikon D300 and Nikkor 18-200mm VR lens at f/5.3 with a shutter speed of 1/640 sec. at ISO 400. Minor post-processing to boost color saturation and add vignette effect.
