21/365 - Chess Anyone?

January 21, 2009 - I saw a photo at an IHOP restaurant that I visited recently of a kid playing checkers that gave me the idea for this photo. I didn't like the checkerboard we have, so I pulled out this nice wooden chess set and grabbed my son to create this image.
Shot hand-held with the Nikon D70 and Nikkor 50mm 1:1.8 lens at f/1.8 with a shutter speed of 1/50 sec and ISO of 800. Converted to black & white in Aperture.
